One Year Since Portlandia

Dance like nobody is watching, Portland“, I said, as I bid goodbye a year ago.

I’ve tried to follow my own advice through a riot of a year, and I’m going to mark this occasion with the first thing I think of when someone says “Portland, OR”.

My go-to comfort zone, the warm embrace that infused me with the energy to zip around the rest of the things that good ol' Portland had to offer, the thing I miss the most -- Powell's Books

And the other things I warmly think of are (in no specific order) …..

Mt.Hood, all seasons!

Food Carts galore!

Driving down a highway. Seriously.

Portland's many weekend getaways. Seattle also had a very dear friend I'd known since I was three.

Friends. Who made all the above so much more fun!

(Back-dated to 12 Mar 2015. Yes, I’ve been lazy!)
